This is a mixed media piece on two 6″ X 6″ canvases with my favorite quote from St. John of the Cross
Stained Glass Window I made for our home chapel as a gift to Bob for our Anniversary. I asked him if he’d like the words, “Behold the Lamb of God” in Latin or English. He said, “Greek.” Of course he did.
Journal Spread – I had Eric Carle (The Hungry Caterpillar) in mind when painting this. I’ve always loved Eric Carle’s style and use of color.
First attempt at Iconography. The Icon Police would throw me in jail. Apparently, one is not to apply egg-tempera pigments like acrylic paints. I have a LOT to unlearn.
This is just a weird piece made out of Yupo Paper, Alcohol Ink and a wood burning too.
Another two-page Journal Spread
and another
Inspired by Vicky Papaioannou’s art work. I LOVE her style!
